From the start of my medical training, my goal has always been to work in a field where I can have the most positive impact for the greatest number of people. Ultimately, I found that the greatest impact could be achieved through caring for those that spend so much of their time caring for others: women and mothers.
I grew up outside of Washington D.C. in the Northern Virginia suburbs and completed my Bachelor’s in Neuroscience at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. I attended medical school at St. George’s University, earning an award for my clinical skills. I then completed my residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Rutgers Health-Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. During my time there, I was appointed Chief of academics and won an award for excellence in research. My interests include optimizing postpartum care, high-risk pregnancy, vaginal birth after c-section, enhanced recovery after surgery, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery—including extensive experience with the Da Vinci robotic surgical system.
I recently relocated to the DFW area with my wife, son, and dog named Kona. I am extremely excited to now join the team at Frisco Women's Health and become a part of this community. I will always strive to provide high-quality, compassionate and individualized care to women through all stages of their lives.
