Individualized Care for Frisco Women
I feel privileged to serve the women of North Texas and their families, and I am excited to be a partner with Medical City Frisco in delivering the highest quality women’s healthcare. Building relationships with my patients is important to me. I strive to earn my patients’ trust with compassionate, individualized care. My goal as a physician is to empower the women I treat to participate in their own healthcare decisions and to make sure their needs and concerns are addressed. Excellence and integrity are critical professional values that permeate everything I do as a physician.
I earned my undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Texas at Austin. I then moved to West Texas to complete my medical education at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
My residency training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center brought me home to North Texas. Working at Dallas’ county hospital during my training provided a broad range of experience in routine and high-risk obstetrics and advanced gynecologic pathology.
After completing my residency training, I underwent an additional year of training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and pelvic floor repair.
This combined experience has equipped me to give the kind of quality care in obstetrics and gynecology that my patients deserve. As of December 2015, I have been Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. I am currently the senior female gynecologist at our Frisco medical practice.
My husband and I both grew up in North Texas and are proud to call it home. We married in 2015 and started our family with two lovable and rambunctious retrievers. Since the fall of 2016, we have been blessed to welcome two sons, my eldest John Henry in October of 2016 and my youngest George in July of 2018. My experiences as a mother and an obstetrical patient have certainly helped make me a better health care provider. We enjoy spending quality time with family and friends and try to get outdoors as often as possible with our dogs and our sons.
